In a friendly vs. Honduras German olympic team walked off the pitch 5 minutes before the end of the game after Jordan Torunarigha was racially abused by an Honduras player.
Olmo and Pedri played so many minutes at the EUROs (including 3 games with extra time) and now starting at the Olympics.
Utterly ridiculous of the Spanish to have Pedri, Oyarzabal, Garcia, Torres, Olmo and Simon in the Olympic squad.
Absolutely no regard for player welfare - these six will have no rest at all this summer now. Shouldn’t have been allowed, pick the players for the Euros or the Olympics not both.
Watching Argentina vs Australia, the Argentinian players keep falling over and Aussies score 
They’ve got 6 players here who played in the Euros. Their argument is they are basing this as much as possible on their recent U21 side of which these kids were a part. But it’s just not right. Especially as the Spanish FA (maybe the league) have mandated that all players who play in Spain who are called up must go so they had viable options to replace them.
German manager said they had a list with 100 players in January and they ended up with a 18 men squad. Many teams refused to let their players go.

Small bit of justice for Germany with that penalty save. Defender jumped for the ball, managed to keep his arms fairly low and had it headed against him from about 1.5 inches away. Never should have been a penalty - already this season we’ve had this given and the one given for us in the Innsbruck friendly. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.
For Brazil, Richarlison and Douglas Luiz both playing when they were in the Copa America squad. Once again, no interest in player welfare shown by management. It’s bizarre, especially to play in the Olympics - essentially a youth team tournament.
