The only advantage Russia (aka Putin) has is in might. This war of aggression has made it (him) a pariah in the eyes of the world.

Whereas Hitler had Imperial Japan and Mussolini to back his gangster tactics up, Putin has gone rogue.

Hitler did not have a nuclear arsenal at his disposal however…

I hate the idea that the war is about what it means to be European.

It’s not, it’s about what it means to be human. It’s about what it means to have empathy for your fellow humans, and the strength in unity.

Yes, you’re no Magnus or Livy.
You’re MViper doing brilliant work in their absence. Hope they’ll be back soon but at their convenience. Wish them the best in whatever they’re doing now.
Many thanks to both you and Semmy too for all your current efforts. Keep it up.

I don’t know about you @Kopstar but I’m feeling a little like chopped liver.

Yeah…

@Semmy and @MViper are doing a great job in the absence of @Magnus and @Livvy and deserve the thanks coming their way.

No need for anyone to thank us as well. We’ll just toast ourselves with a couple of beers

I caught up to Livvy on Twitter, she’s lurking somewhere.

I unplugged for the weekend, other than a tweet about an event I was at. glorious stuff to put the phone away. even got out on the boat and fished for a bit.

Ocean or lake - can be really hard to tell in BC sometimes, but stillness suggests a lake.

it’s a man-made lake close to my home. about 30min from my door to the boat launch. River was dammed in the 1920’s and the lake went from 2km long to 28km long.
