First half Marocco just about shaded it and had enough opportunities to score but they will rue those misses in the second half.
I very rarely watch African teams, but from what I see, Egypt usually don’t even try to control these ‘bigger’ games. They’re rather pragmatic and try hit teams on counter attacks.
Although yeah, perhaps today was a bad day, below standard performance even in that context what they usually do.

Deserved for Morocco. Nigeria were more interested in literally grappling and fighting rather than play football.

I know tournaments can get a bit dull late on but it’s usually a couple of quarters and the semi finals onwards but this dropped off once the groups were over.
I was expecting more from these two. Attacking team v Defensive team.

It was a penalty but yeah I think the Senegal goal was wrongly disallowed, he knew anything like that would be given it’s utterly dumb.
