I can well imagine the players were informed before it was publicly announced and the comms team asking them to give it 24 hours before saying anything on their social channels.
That break gives a chance for a touch of the heat to drop out of the story. Pretty standard comms approach and you ask someone like Virg to go first and the rest can then follow. Seems to be what’s happening now with a trickle coming out.

I think, in modern football, once it’s recognised that you’ve lost the dressing room then there is no possible comeback. I’m in agreement with @mascot in what seems like an age, he’s gone, he had evidently fallen out with some but some didn’t seem bothered. He moves on and we move on.
I wish him well for the title win and the adaptations he made did do it. (I remember the wailing over Zubimendi). But he has evidently for some time had no answer to solve the issues as the players looked less fit as the days passed.

Jordan was an engine with a good passing range over longer distances. From what I’ve read of Scott, he is more like Gravenberch but with a better passing range over shorter distances.
