They’re completely different cenarios, eras, players, mentality so pointless making the comparison. They don’t compare.
Same. Fans at the ground were frustrated with the players, the team, and the general situation but I didn’t hear anything directly negative about Arne
I thought Chiesa was decent too, especially given the lack of time he’s had on the pitch. He showcased how smart he is with several runs and passes and chased back to harry opponents. Put a big effort in and just needs more time. I don;t think Slot will have been disappointed at all. Gave him 60mins which is what you would expect.
If someone questions the quality of work we got done in pre-season given everything that had happened then I think that is reasonable, but the issue I was responding to was that we lost critical time, which just isn’t true.
FWIW though if the quality of our pre-season suffered I think that is far more likely to show up in our tactical execution than our physical fitness, and it is the latter than has become the conventional wisdom over the last week or so that is hurting us.
My guess is he met some certain former members.

28!
You bunch of desperate fucking ass kissers.
I just got you off the mark @Nobluff only 27 to go.
26 to go @Nobluff …
its fucking bullshit, blokes been here for week and hes already got 24 more likes than i have in nearly 20 years of posting…
Well maybe you should give bj’s instead of just naming yourself after one. @SBYM @PeachesEnRegalia would be all over your posts.
That cunt is on sabbatical.
I thought he looked better when he started to roam and make runs inside the box at first he seemed stuck out wide and had no service.
Also, making those inside runs and even popping up left central caused more concern for the Wolves defenders.
You’ve got some likes?
FIFY.
The biggest issue with Endo and Chiesa is that they are taking up two foreign spots and thus limiting what we can do in the market. Slot obviously doesn’t really want to use them, and when they do play they look way below the level we need, even from a back up. They should have been moved on this summer.
Just in case folks do not have a times sub
So, he was originally appointed as ‘first-team individual development coach’ then shoehorned into the set piece role instead, now he’s been sacked?
Okay…
Might not have been good enough in the former either. These coaches obviously have a role to play and we’ve been horrific in that phase of play. Sad when people lose their jobs but it’s fairly obvious the way he was handling his role was hurting the team.
cant be bothered going over the Chiesa debate, but wasnt there some ridiculous stat about us not conceding after Endo came on last season …
it makes you wonder though doesnt it, he used to come on late in the piece and shut the door closed last season with efficiency, yet this season when we are an absolute shambles in the dying minutes hes nowhere to be seen…
