Not yet. Klopp lifted us from the doldrums and put us back on top. We went through a rollercoaster of hard times and good with him which is how bonds are formed.
If anything Klopp’s status has gone up now we see the wonderful squad that Arne inherited. Also his decision to step down due to his energy levels has been justified now that we see what new energy has brought to the squad. He could have kept going like Fergie and Pep, hoping for a bit more personal glory but leaving an aging shambles behind, but instead showed humility in passing on the baton and getting us behind Ar-neee Slot na na na na na!

Kelleher’s mistake last night at the end, no doubt about that. But in those last few minutes, I kept looking if we were finally preparing one of the 2 subs we could make. Goal conceded in the 90th minute, but nobody was even preparing to come in. It was an intense game, Salah was in some pain, etc.

I’m more worried about Slot’s lack of rotation. He hasn’t experienced the brutality of the English schedule, especially during the festive season. Klopp made the same mistake in his first full season. We were first around Christmas and ended up securing 4th on the last day of the season.
I don’t want to see history repeating itself.
