I don’t have any clubs specifically in mind, but if we framed it like this is the best league in the world, and it deserves the best officiating, it could gain traction.
If the clubs came together I’m sure there would be quite a lot of common ground to be found in terms of dissatisfaction with the status quo.
It could gain enough momentum to end the PGMOL and form another organization. Clubs could agree on key points of improvement and new standards and deliverables in a new charter for a new organization, one that is fit for purpose.

Oliver didn’t miss his chance, did he? His Abu Dhabi bosses will be pleased with him.
Anyway, Slot should have known better. He surely talked at length with Klopp and others about refereeing in the PL, and as the French say, should have kept his tongue in his pocket. But that’s not the Dutch way apparently!

They’ll probably apply a two-match ban, but not for the Wolves game. That way, we’ll have to play at Villa and at Abu Dhabi without him. That’s the best way to harm us.

Taking the sting out the game should have happened in the 91st minute when Salah is clearly fouled on edge of box. A couple of minutes would have easily been used up with setting up the free kick. Its easy to say we didn’t do what we should have when its quite clear Oliver had other ideas.

Arne Slot said “great game” to referee Michael Oliver before being shown a red card and told to “keep away” by Virgil van Dijk, according to a lip reader.
All three dismissals - along with one for Everton’s Abdoulaye Doucoure - occurred after the final whistle due to an on-field brawl sparked by Doucoure’s celebration in front of the away fans. Jones received a second yellow card for confronting and pushing the Mali international, but the reason for Slot’s red card was less clear.
It came after the Dutchman forcefully shook referee Oliver’s hand, though it was his two-word comment seconds earlier that could have also landed him in trouble. According to lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman, Slot said to Oliver, “Great game” as he approached him.
The official seemingly took that as sarcasm and promptly reached for his pocket. A shocked Slot then asked: “Sure, you give me a red for that?.. I will check it out for later… me and you, yeah?”
Reds captain Van Dijk stepped in, pointing out that the problem was not Slot’s comment about a ‘great game’, but rather his robust handshake. He told the coach, “Hey, Michael… that was not a pull [of your arm]… Michael… it isn’t personal,” adding that his boss should “keep away”.On Thursday, it was reported that Slot would be hit with a two-match touchline suspension due to the altercation - however, the Premier League later performed an embarrassing U-turn and deleted this claim from its statement. It would have seen the Dutchman miss Liverpool’s crucial fixtures against Wolves and Aston Villa, unless an appeal was successful.

The track back is embarrassing from the PL, as is the whole shit show from last night.
If indeed he was carded for a firm handshake, the pussy Oliver needs to toughen up. Problem is, the PL/PGMOL will always back “ol” as he’s their main man - prob why the ban announcment was made so swiftly - makes the back track even more interesting.
Most importantly, unlike players, coaches and managers don’t receive automatic bans, therefore there is a chance that he is not banned at all. If the ban is confirmed before Friday, then I hope Slot has calmed down, but also tells us what he said to Oliver.

I have repeatedly started responding to people to say we dont actually know why he got the red so comparing the incident to others isnt that helpful, but it doesnt reallty matter does it. Whatever explanation they end up giving will be fucking nonsense.

Honeymoon is well and truely over.
I don’t feel hé had learnt enough about the EPL and this is getting rough for him.
Don’t get me wrong I think he’s a super coach and he’ll get there. It’s just that he obviously isn’t seeing the same as me atm. I mean we’re being dominated at the end of most matches now!

I think, he should have rotated the midfield a little more earlier in the season to help keep the legs and more importantly the mind fresh for when the games come thick and fast.
I do feel Endo could gave started a couple of the games especially against low block teams
