the stuff like that, the playing the anfield crowd over loud speakers and the pick pocket garbage… its all a bit rodgeresque to be honest…all good while your winning lego head, but makes you look a prick when it starts going off the rails
Arsenal are reporting that White had surgery on a chronic knee issue and will be out for months.
Can go on holiday and get a proper tan.
The stars are aligning.
Calafiori is now close to a return so it’s possible they can make do with him and Timber as FBs, but neither of those guys have been able to stay fit. You’d think the odds of them having more games during White’s absence where neither of them plays than when both play is probably pretty high.
He’ll come back with a white knee though.
Ben White-Knee
Unless he pulls his socks up to his thighs.
Yep…
Could be worse though…
If he does the front and back on the tanning bed he could end up like Norman…Whitesides
Fortunately he will be able to play games within this period as the surgery has proved to be ‘non invasive’. However Arsenal and the LegoMan still need to be given a pass as merely the idea that one of their players could get injured is a huge setback and it is a wonder their team have the mental fortitude to even put out an XI each week. It would not be an exaggeration to say that they are perhaps the single biggest marvel of the twenty first century and it is perplexing why LegoMan hasn’t yet been knighted, sainted and deified.
Sounds like the LegoMan has had the riot act reqd to him by the owners and it’s big trophy or bust. Toys will end up out of the pram.
The trouble is that we’re much better than them, and City get bailed out by the refs.
So, in essence, Arsenal are fucked.
Saliba: dives in to block a shot but is late
Arsenal fans: look at this foul on our player. That should have been a red

13th place in managers ranking. That’s Lego Art Eta.
And not surprinsingly, Erik ten Sag is bottom of the list.
Ranking a manager who was yet to have his team play a game? Sounds reasonable…
Imagine when he wins a game… does he go top?
Said this before the international break that I expect Arsenal to finish the year very strong. Favorable run of games and very few injuries.
We are going into the next matchday with a 8 point lead on City but have the feeling it will be 7 on Arsenal after the weekend.
So no I don’t think they are out of the title race.
West Ham on Saturday evening is actually their toughest test in the coming weeks but can not see anything other but an Arsenal win.
Are you predicting we settle for a draw on Sunday…?
We should will the boys to a win
Arsenal are a very good side and they look poised to go on a good run, and with some easier fixtures coming up it should help them amass some points.
It is a fascinating race, as we are out in front, but there is a sense that we don’t know how the side will do over a long slog of a season yet. We are hopeful that Slot’s more measured aspect will mean less injuries and more petrol in the tank to avoid the slump.
We may even make a signing or two in January, not only to help us now but to shape it for the longer term as Slot is backed to make a move or two.
As for the Man City game, we should expect them to give us everything they’ve got. They are in a bit of a state, but the big occasion has a way of sharpening the focus. They will be doing their utmost to prevent an 11 point gap from opening up.
On our end if we get even close to the performance level we saw against Real Madrid, I think we will smash them.
It could just as easily be 12 … and that would be curtains for them.
