Vangelis was mentioned several times in this and the Music threadā¦This piece (Chariots of Fire) was the first time Iāve heard of his work.
Will try to post one soundtrack every day.
Movie was good but the soundtrack had some great songs. Here are two of my favorites.
The Blues Brothers is a great movie. Fantastic comedic cast with some true blues legendās in cameos , amazing soundtrack and a batshit crazy car chase scene!
Good movie. Cracking soundtrack. I mean, itās The Doors manā¦
No mention of Drive yet?

We just need some pollorder nowā¦ Where is @cynicaloldgit
I donāt know about the whole soundtrack as Iāve never seen the movie, but this is one of my favourites.
Despite all the other really good suggestions I donāt think Iāve heard a better soundtrack that is so perfectly interwoven with a film than the one Jon has suggested.
Agreed, the opening credits is probably the best iāve seen for, music, action and comedic value, the space rat microphone tickles me everytime.
Three absolute gems
loved that movie!
It was borderline criminal that it took so long for Ennio Morricone to get an Oscar. All those classic spaghetti westerns were looked down at from the perspective of the oscars, and by association his brilliant music.
I remember someone talking about the musical score of one of those, I think it was the director, and he was saying they had no money for the score (band/orchestra) so they had to use about 3 instruments to create the music.
Thread title says movie, but I aināt starting a new oneā¦
The soundtrack for the TV show Mindhunter is fucking brilliant.
The juxtaposition of certain 70/80s lyrics and some pretty horrific serial killer shenanigans is chilling.
