Odegaard out for a while - Arteta confirmed that he’s got significant ankle ligament damage.
No timescale given, but assume it will be at least 4-6 weeks to get over that, severity dependant. Big blow for them, as they’ve not got to rely heavily on Partey/Jorginho to cover, both of whom are miles below the standards of their captain.
Bet he’ll be ready to play against us October 27th.
Explains a lot.
Damn, there goes my connection.
Was always one of my go to free signings on FM back in the day when managing in the conference. Get him in for a couple of seasons where he would be key to gaining promotion, then once you hit League 2, tie him down to a multiyear deal and a Championship club would always be guaranteed to come in during that summer.
An easy few million that you can then reinvest in a few other players to bolster the squad.
What does that mean? How long it takes them to get the ball back into play?
On average, Arsenal delay restarts for longer than any other Premier League team.
From Match of the Day Facebook page.
Full table below. I said in PL thread yday that Arsenal have got away with shithousery for too long. Time-wasting is just one aspect of it. Interesting that we time-waste the least
Which teams time-waste the most?

I do think we take too long during throw-ins. But we’re stil the least time wasting team.
I think that is a function of what Klopp was trying to do to opponents. Don’t let them catch their breath with a 30 second stoppage for a simple throw-in, keep them under pressure. Under Slot that number will probably drift upwards.
I think we take faster throw ins now compared to what we took under Klopp.
I remember Trent taking what seemed like ages to release the ball
Throw-ins are not usually the slower restarts, and we do seem to have more going on at free kicks where under Klopp we were pretty quick with them unless they were around the opposing box.
Feels like it’s mainly because he has no good options to release the ball to. I don’t think we have as bad a problem on the left side, do we?
Thats Trent, mercurial with the ball at his feet, but in his hands a different matter altogether
Our throwins took an age but yeah you have consider how quick Alisson is with distribution.
Bottom of the table, FSG and Slot out!
Wrong perspective. @tesh out!

Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz didn’t complete a SINGLE pass against Man City yesterday
They become the FIRST outfield players in over 21 seasons of Premier League football to play over 89 minutes of a match and not carry out a successful pass
