Not really. He has played there very occasionally when needed or when Arteta was fucking around with the system, but he came into the team as a forward and as played almost all his minutes as one. Most stats seem to claim it is just nine appearances all in his first season

We all fully expect a strong Arsenal performance. We are finding out more bout Slot’s side as we go. In the meantime, at this early stage we will take 11 wins from 12, and so few goals conceded. There’s more to come from this Liverpool side.

Both play on Wednesday too. Newcastle at home against Chelsea. Arsenal away against mighty PNE.
