Winners win. Whiners whine. Arsenal are undoubtedly a very good team, but they are held back by the culture of whining. I couldn’t agree more that most of the ‘hardship’ this season is self inflicted. And when you look at the supposed hardship, it is completely in the bounds of normal attrition during the course of a season - and the better squads should be equipped to roll with the punches. It’s why nobody has any sympathy for them, or for Pep’s whining about Man City’s hardships right now.
Arteta’s Arsenal - been there 5 years? Spent 700M+. Won an FA Cup.
That might be the story, so Arteta needs to deflect it away from that. Once that narrative takes hold he is on a path out of there… unless he starts to win something big, soon.
Some guy there even wanted to have Saliba over VVD.
Stopped watching the video then , sure they’ll try to find a way to say Saka needs to come in over Salah and martinelli/trossard need to play ahead of Diaz.
Hearing the VAR audio from Saliba’s red and seeing Arsenal fans try to make it about Gillette being a Liverpool fan has to be some of the most delusional shit I’ve ever seen.
When did this fan base get so fucking idiotic? Have they always been and now it’s just worse because they’re relevant again? Fuck me
No, they really haven’t. I think the popularity of ArsenalFanTV has created an echo chamber that has made them progressively more moronic, maybe starting in the late Wenger days.
This (he asked injured players to act like they were in the match day squad) feels its started to approach petty territory now. I am all for being a petty bitch but feel its important to acknowledge when we’re getting into that sort “bitch eating crackers” place
