It was rumoured there was Sodium Cyanide being carried as cargo, but this has been denied now though.
Anyone not familiar with this product, or the name it used to be sold under - CYMAG… it is a lethal pesticide.
As an example of its use, when it mixes with moisture, it turns into a cyanide/gas… it was popular to sprinkle a spoonful in rabbit borrows and the like, whence the gas would then permeate through the warrens/tunnels, killing everything that came into contact.
It was a favourite with Salmon/Trout poachers, well certainly in Scotland… Sprinkle a spoonful off a boat in a River or lake, the fish… all fish, would float to the surface within minutes.
It has been banned in most places now, but I remember a local telling me never to eat fish in certain restaurants, as these were supplied by the same poachers…!!
If a large amount of this had escaped in the sea… would be a serious matter indeed.

I can proudly say that I was one of the several hundred thousand people there yesterday. Despite regime’s tactics that included disabling trains and bus transport and planting false info about violent clashes and whatnot, this was the turnout:

https://www.reddit.com/r/serbia/comments/1jc2yzs/tačkasti_softvet_can_not_tačk/

They interrupted the fifteen minutes of silence by using a device that I hadn’t known even existed (they call it “sonic cannon” over here, apparently its abbreviation in English is LRAD) on peaceful protesters. So, I admit that I’m truly afraid about our future but the yesterday’s turnout gives me hope that we can overthrow the tyranny.

One thing about that article, though - I know it’s popular to dunk only on Trump these days but our country’s president is equally friendly with China, Russia and EU, as long as they enable him to stay in power.

That turnout is incredible.

One thing about these types though, sooner or later, they run out of friends…

Is the black clad football hooligan characterisation accurate?

The guy has handed Kosovo and Metohija to USA on a plate, he’s now giving away the most valuable properties in the heart of Belgrade to Trump’s son, he’s given the mines of Eastern Serbia to China and is trying to strike a deal with EU and infamous Rio Tinto to let them mine lithium in Western Serbia, thus destroying the most fertile land in the country and poisoning the rivers from where we drink (it went as far as former chancellor Scholz visiting Belgrade a few months ago and literally stating that they wanted to mine lithium there). I’m afraid that interest of his “friends” will keep him there.

Yeah, it’s a strategy that he employs often. Such people cleared out the inhabitants of Belgrade riverside during one night some ten years ago, demolished the buildings there, so that he and his partners could build the most expensive neighbourhood of the city.

Actually, my first thought was ‘Oh, another coup attempt by shadowy figures in the Army and Mi5’. But that’s only because I watched this documentary a few days ago.

Hey…! Well it is breaking news for some on here :0)

Tesco Meal Deal has just got a massive upgrade as the major supermarket will be introducing the Pot Noodle

Madeleine Boulton, Senior Brand Manager at Pot Noodle said: "We know our fans are always looking to get the most bang for their buck, so our move into the Tesco Meal Deal as a side is our way of giving customers the ultimate ‘snackisfaction’ and for some, the perfect hack that will ensure their meal deal sees them through the day.

“Head down to a participating Tesco store now to get your ‘noo’ bit on the side – we are officially the new G.O.A.T snack for lunch-timers, noodler lovers!”

I just spoken to my friend in Hayes. She said all the lights in the houses in her street suddenly went off. Everyone went out of their houses to see what happened.

She went to drop of someone a few streets away near the town centre, all the traffic lights were off. This was about 11:45pm. Helicopters were circulating from above. It was a huge uncontrollable fire at the time, near the Nestle building. She said it was really scary. Some houses didn’t get their electricity back on until this morning. She was lucky. She got hers back in 2 hours.
This was very strange incident.

Nestle is the latest focus of a big organized boycott related to their roll back of DEI initiatives that supposedly starting this week.

That is probably a coincidence, but if Russia did want to stir up shit this is in their wheelhouse

Apparently these types of fires are incredibly rare and anti-terrorism police are heading up the investigation.

Sudanese army is a vicious, genocidal force. But I’m so glad that the UAE :united_arab_emirates: and their butchers RSF is having a tough time.
