Someone should tie them up
I’m visualising Odysseus sailing past the sirens. That’d do it ![]()
That lad on the right usually gets cropped out but anyone know who he is and what happened to him?
Some talent there though…I really doubt we will ever again see a group of young British lads like that in one club..
Edit .. the lad on the end is Terry Cooke. He later played for Manchester City in Division 3!
He really had Brian Kidd, and a huge dollop of luck, to thank for those lads. Of course, he still chose to play them despite never winning anything with kids.
What have Terry Cooke and Haaland got in common?
Playing for City in the third division?
I am wondering, if this is ‘sane or insane’.
We should make a pact with Man Utd and Arsenal supporters to have banners and tifos at every match they play against Man City.
What do you think or have I lost my marbles?
Everytime i hear Gary Neville and his debate on Man City, I am agreeing with him

Goldbridge sellout complete:
I’ve enjoyed his unbiased takes as a fan of football generally, not just his United rants, and now this is basically any other former pro’s talking heads channel where everyone has too much skin in the game and/or too many mates they don’t want to offend by saying anything controversial or genuinely insightful.
A sad day, actually.
Yeah another senior pros channel… Dull.
The Football! Football! Football! reminded me of …
And all controlled by Sky
Home match against Spurs. Easy peasy 3 points for United.
Beware the “Ides of Spursy”.

I noticed a tonal shift the other day…
He used to slam Neville at pretty much any opportunity.
Now he refers to him as Gary.
If they do fuck up against Spurs then he can’t be long.
Has all the makings of that kind of match, doesn’t it? Spurs have been diabolically bad to start the season, United not much better. De Zerbi seems like the type of manager who’ll stay up for nights on end trying to figure out how to right the ship, where Carrick only knows how to do one thing - no plan B or strategic planning for particular opponents. United’s fitness levels were already in the bin, and a lot of their players have gone off and played 3-4 internationals over the last couple of weeks, they’ll be knackered to a man on Saturday.
Feels like it’ll be a 1-0 to Spurs type situation, but there’ll be some kind of controversial call or missed pen by Bruno and he’ll get the benefit of the doubt for another week.
it’ll be good quality grass that,
plenty of manure goes on it every 2nd week afterall…
Spurs have scored 2 goals this season.
I’m tipping them to win 1-3.
I think Spurs will win. On paper they are much better than what they’ve shown so far this season. At some point they will show that.
I’m not a betting man, but I would bet on a Spurs win against Man Utd.
