A frustration has always been how Google maps pronounces Welsh place names.

I’m not convinced Brian would be much better. Could be entertaining though.

Our Garmin sat nav always mangled Scottish place names. Not even things like Milngavie or Auchterarder, but simple things like Falkirk. She was a right stuck up crabby bitch as well. We used to take wrong turnings to wind her up and once drove through North Wales to give her an embolism.

If you want to have fun with place names, get a Scouser to say “Ecclefechan”. It’s not strictly wrong, but it is hilarious.

Why are the cameras so focused on Kim Kardashian (I didn’t even know who she was until the commentator mentioned her name) during this F1 weekend at Monaco? So what if she’s Hamster’s new fling? She even featured in the latest Nike World Cup commercial with VvD taking a double take. Really?!

Is she the American TV personality with the enormous arse?

I think so. I believe that she and her family (sisters, mother?) also has a “reality” TV show.

Many years ago I sold a car to my father, which included a private (NI) plate.
Years later we had a fall out, and I’ve not seen or heard from him in nearly 10 years.
My brother, who I’d not had a fall out with, cut all ties and I’ve not seen or heard from him in nearly 10 years either.
Saw a car today bearing that number plate and I’m wildly curious to find out who the registered keeper is.
I’m aware that due to GDPR the only (legal) way to find out is by applying to the DVLA, providing an authentic reason for the enquiry.
Any bent coppers on here who can help?
