He was also on City’s books for a while - and they are trying to sign him too.
Early days, but the link up play of this Jackson guy looks quality.
Conjures old memories of @ZinedineBiscan watching Smicer shine in pre-season and saying to himself “this is the year. He’ll be like a new signing.”
Any day now!
Even if he did nothing else, his goal in Istanbul makes his career as a red a success.

I am going to be really interested in what Silva looks like this season. Not only is he at an age where he can turn old overnight, a change of manager like he has experienced has a way of exposing things in an ageing players game. If Silva looks anything like Terry did for that half season under AVB Chelsea will sink
BREAKING: SSN understands Brighton have immediately rejected a bid worth £80m from Chelsea for Moises Caicedo.
Brighton are going to fleece them, and so they should considering the sums they’ve been paying out left and right since Boehly took over. However, the terms of that deal isn’t what interests me here - it’s seeing what Brighton come up with once they get hold of that money (plus what we have already paid them for Mac Allister).
Us and Brighton should troll them.

He’s not even press resistant.
I assume Chelsea might have got a ban from Europe with that FFP but they aren’t in it.
So Chelsea are fined a paltry £8.6 million and Juventus are banned from the Europa Conference League for next season.
and Juventus are banned from the Europa Conference League for next season.
So UEFA’s “punishment” for breaching FFP is to actually….reward them?
Im sure there has to be more to the Chelsea finding than that. Like the ownership issue created obstacles to compliant reporting but the penalty was mitigated by the new owners working to rectify the situation and demonstrating compliance. Surely. Right?
Either way seems oddly incomplete
Cue city selling the club to another relative and then getting out of FFP issues
Cue city selling the club to another relative and then getting out of FFP issues
From my understanding, that would only work if the new relative flagged up previous irregularities and accepted any punishment handed out, which I doubt they would do as it would be a case of them admitting Sheik Monsoor is dodgy which I doubt the family would allow as they would lose face having to admit to not playing by the rules.
I know nothing about him.
