Just a quick Google because I donât have the book I first read that in at hand:
What?
None of whatever that twat wrote in his Xit was in the article at all?
Youâre literally proving @Limiescouseâs point.
The UN Human Rights Commission consists of far-left radicals/lunatics/DEI beneficiaries (delete as appropriate).
What do you think of this.
I am getting the impression these tech companies are infiltrating many country governments data systems from around the world and sneakily putting their sinistwrpolicies in? I feel like i am watching a Science fiction film in real time. It is really scary times.
Trump wants Ukraineâs rare earth elements as a condition of further support | AP News
He really is the lowest of the low.
Sadly, you are forgetting the states with horribly abusive human rights records.
And also really daft, because that will destroy the goodwill of any Ukrainians who would be in favour of exporting the rare earth elements to the US.
Americans voted for this.
They chose a corrupt government, thatâs on them.
I am surprised at how light the Chinese response has been, at least for now. Their targeted sectors are quite precise, where in 2018 they went for a massive response - American soybean producers were devastated, for example, so much so that there was a wave of suicides.
I dont see how any of this supports the point you are trying to make. I think Land Acknowledgements outside of indigenous events are at best an empty gesture, but I have literally never been anywhere where I encountered one. Wesley Yang is a lunatic who spends 24/7 getting worked up about fringe woke ideas that have zero actual impact in anyoneâs lives. Trying to argue that the Dems are unattractive because of their focus on this is just not a position that can be held by living in the actual world.
Yes the Dem party are in a mess right now, but they just lost an entirely winnable election to a lunatic who is going to do serious damage to the country. They made a leftward shift in policy and got absolutely nothing for it from even their voters leaving them seriously questioning how to balance their priorities with electability. Of course this is a big news story, but it doesnt validate perceptions of holding them accountable for the things and ideas that people outside of the party have. And this is the point already raised and ignored - a significant amount of the negative perception of them right now is based on how people already opposed to the party frame them rather than because of what they themselves do and prioritize. There is an awful lot of be dissatisfied with about the party right now but focusing on framing by intellectual dark web wierdos like Yang is to live in a version of the world that doesnt really exist.
If anyone was seriously concerned about identity politics, maybe the white nationalist party who just got voted into power would be of more concern than a largely academic debate about the value and use of Land Acknowledgements that almost no one ever encounters?
Trump canât say, hence the mumbling bullshit. âI donât have a clue what Iâm signing or why, these guys that paid to get me into this office are running the show. Iâm just here to stay out of prison, make a fast buck as Don the Con and play golfâ.
âCulture warsâ was a distant third amongst voters supporting Republicans behind inflation and immigration. But for swing voters in swing states, it was the number one issue why they voted Republican. Itâs why Trumpâs campaign spent over $200 million in âsheâs for they/themâ ads in swing states. This is the ad that won Trump the election.
Democrats long ago abandoned any pretense of serving the working person. They have to get back to that and stop with this extreme far left culture war nonsense.
I see you completely ignored my point, and @Limiescouseâs
The ones playing the culture war won the election.
Just to be clear you are refusing to engage with any point put towards you.
The Democrats supposed priority on culture war issues over issues voters cared about was undeniably a huge factor in this election. No one is denying that. The question is how fair this perception was vs how much was it the result of a cynical if effective weaponization by the other party. I assume everyone understands that the effectiveness of political attacks from your opponents has no bearing on its validity. For the Dems to move forward they need to figure out how to break the perception, but that is a communication issue (primarily how to reach people as much as figuring out what to say) not a policy issue. Tripling down on the idea that people are upset with the Dems because of this and therefore it must be true is ignoring the rebuttals you have received.
Savvy informed voter: The Dems are obsessed with identity politics [ignores the party they have leaned to are literally fighting about protecting the lost cause mythology of the confederacy]
Too woke.
