Europe has spent the last several decades degrading its military, spending resources on social programs, relying on American military power and the American taxpayer to protect them.
No more.
Europe has to spend more on defense. It shouldnât have to rely on the US to protect Ukraine (though the US should). Criticism of the US from Europe is an abdication of Europe to defend itself.

Silly me, who thought the entire purpose of defending Taiwain against forced Chinese assimilation was to prevent a Chinese take over of this very strategic industry. But why not crush them instead and do the job for China economically so it will be super easy for them to annex Taiwan later. Interesting strategy.
This timeline, I want to escape from it. One thing is malevolent agressive actors like Putin with a clear aim of conquest, another is this perplexing self sabotage by the United States.

Also, we are now selling India, who has very close defense industry relations with Russia, F-35. You know, the plane Turkey didnât get to buy after they bought S-400 from Russia. India of course, has much more S-400 and is also not in NATO. The US now under Trump is totally using the word âpartnerâ in the same way that Russia always has used the word (i.e. âOur Western partners blah blahâ).
