Since Friday we have had news of an additional disclosure of war planning from Hegseth on Signal, this time to family and friends, and an op ed in Political by Hegseth’s now fired Coms director claiming the recent firings in DoD were of people wanting to seek accountability for these inappropriate, likely illegal, intelligence disclosures.
In reporting this, Politico wrote this

Hollywood reporter misstates information about Truth Social’s SEC filings. The report is picked up by a bunch of aggregators and Truth Social sues them all. The Hill, one of the most politically connected outlets strikes a deal to be excluded in exchange for offering up the reporter to be fired.

Somewhat related, there’s a video from one of these guitar youtubers (don’t particularly like the guy, but that’s not the point) talking about how this will affect that ‘industry’. He’s reasonably popular and obviously not a political or even economics voice, so little stuff like this (as an example) in these niche areas/interests might have some influence over time.
