@Nobluff is strangely silent.

But then again, none of this affected them personally, ever.

That’s always a danger for any big figure with a big mouth, and even though he is rich and has security, in a country with 400M+ firearms, the bulk of which are in the hands of angry MAGA types, it should be a concern for him.

Obviously I don’t wish that on anyone.

By the next presidential election, the Dems will be the Republicans and Elon and his oligarchs will have their pick of parties and policies.

Dems are now systemically rotting and useless.

The pernicious effect of the neoliberal agenda which has been dragging the electorate rightward over the last 45+ years, even though it isn’t in their best interests.

isn’t that the whole point. Nothing does really matter. It’s not like Trump’s going to upend the entire structure totally. He’s probably going to push it somewhat on overdrive.

US politics and their voters , by and large , have no clue.

Exceptions…ofcourse , and there are many of them. In this forum too.

They don’t exist.

Populist policies never fail. It’s always somebody else’s fault.

Do just enough the ensure that the masses continue to be brainwashed. It’s not even the question of failure.

Speaking of brainwashing and undercutting democracies from within. But meanwhile, hey a vote for Trump is a vote against democracy.

So, what’s your alternative? Dictatorship? Monarchy? Oligarchy?

It’s easy to criticise, especially in a system that doesn’t jail you for expressing your opinion.
