OMG! Trump accidentally just exposed his plans to cut down Washington DC’s oldest grove of cherry trees so that he can build HIMSELF a golf course with OUR MONEY!
He has got to be stopped…
Donald Trump’s relentless crusade to remake Washington D.C. in his own repulsive image now includes plans to cut down Washington DC’s oldest grove of cherry trees along the Mall and eliminate the public biking path and picnic areas, all so he can build a Trump golf course on public land, using OUR tax dollars, and taking OUR spaces away from the public so that he and his pedo buddies live the high life.
Sharp-eyed photographers noticed Trump was carrying plans showing a FAR more extensive redevelopment of the golf course than federal officials told the public.
The Washington Post reports “The plans, visible in photographs taken during Trump’s visit, seem to stretch the redesigned golf course across nearly the entire East Potomac peninsula, extending play to the shoreline. The renderings do not appear to show several of the park’s best-known public amenities, including the riverside bicycle trail, the miniature golf course and Washington’s oldest grove of cherry trees.”
“It would also expand golf into roughly 50 acres of parkland now used for picnicking, fishing, cycling and other recreation.”
Trump will stop at nothing to take EVERYTHING from us – our healthcare, our rights and freedoms, our national dignity, our rule of law, our clean air and water, and now even our public spaces and recreation areas.
As soon as Democrats retake the White House, everything is going back to the way it was before. Full de-Trumpification has got to be one of the first things on our very, very long list of priorities.

There was a really weird Supreme Court story earlier this week where NPR erroneously reported the retirement of Alito attributed to their long time, 80 something year old court reporter Nina Tottenburg. They quickly retracted it realizing it was bogus, but their explanations for what happened don’t cut it.
Tottenburg claims when the last decision was announced there was an unexpected lack of activity from reporters rushing to report on it. She says she asked people what was happening and was told there were retirement announcements and she just assumed that meant Alito. She called it into the NPR desk who published her pre-written piece about it. They quickly retracted it when they realized it was wrong.
There is now the story on how they fucked up so badly and none of the explanations address why she was so confident the whisper she heard related to Alito to the point that she felt comfortable calling it in and her editors publishing it without requesting confirmation.
I suppose it might be a first when he has to own up and say, “I cannot tell a lie…”
