It was on one of those stupid betting sites that lets you bet on anything at all, like what your favourite colour is or how sticky a stick is or what words are going to be in the orange toddlers next speech.
Well his doofus sons, Jared and the rest of them are all on the make so why shouldnât he.
His is the least damage.
Are they unedited versions?
Direct access to his brain (or whatever left between the ears) before he even types on TS? Must be one of those Musk neural link implant.
(Reminds me very much about Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex cybernetic implants.)
Aka insider trading - privately tweeting executive orders that only become âpublicâ at a later point after that information has been financially capitalised upon. The kleptocracy known as the âRepublic of Trumpistanâ
Did I actually hear him saying that China stole 220m voter records?
Something like that, but wih so much BS coming out of the orange orifice, hard to sort out,but is all about the mid terms.
Meant to be a reply to SBYM.
Records that are public and freely available to purchase (references to voter history refer to elections in which the voter participated. They do not contain information on who/what they voted for). Most are not even restricted for foreign governments to purchase them and so if there is illegality of China obtaining what they had it was likely in obtaining them covertly and not paying for them.
The only things from that speech not already reported on and known were the bits where Trump lied about stuff, and the documents they released in support of this didnt actually show what he said, in fact showed the main balance of foreign interference in 2020 was in his favour (mainly from Russia) and is not actually new information.
It was the sort of public appearance that should immediately result in impeachment or enactment of the 25th amendment.
It is just so weird. They control the executive, legislative, and judicial branches at the Federal level. At the state level, it is more mixed but some of his most bitter complaints are about Georgia, where that is also true.
Trumpâs second presidency is based in significant degree on the idea that he was not president from 16-20
You have to remember though many of his staff in his first term were the right wing hardened republican types they were still government types. This lot arenât.
Is there an argument to scrap the 2 term limit? Can the 2nd term be a bit of a âdeadâ term in that opposition can just stall until the next cycle - thus both torpedoing the current incumbent and at the same time enhancing the replacement. Admittedly, this view is in the context of a broken promise system (where it is about having power and less about the people being governed) in play nowadays.
edit: or a one off 7 year stint
The representatives could do their job, same with the Supreme Court and so on.
Is it the world we live in though?
It seems to be possible in places mindâŚ
The answer isnât really to allow him more time to do more damage is it?
He will be dead soon enough. The issue is about vision and strategy I guess at either end.
Either way the disconnect between how the world âworksâ and how informed people are when they cast their votes is too dis functional in many ways.
True I just think the whole function of it doesnât work.
Perfect example is treating âTruth socialâ as the Presidentâs official press. It shouldnât be, you ignore it or blanket ban reporting on it, he then has to come to you. His MAGA crowd will follow it (not probably as much as youâd expect) but who else has truth social? Journalists, amping his message without recourse.
In many ways Truth social represents the disfunction. The goal is maybe this should never be an avenue to consolidate power - not through law but more through a shrug of the shoulders and a meh. Society should be able see through this.
