The new racist attack on Abdul in the Michigan senate race is positioning him as being responsible for a large number of euthanasias when he was in control of Detroits dog shelter. It is playing on stereotypes of muslims and dogs to suggests the numbers were that high because he wanted it that way.
Detroit had been hiding the dog catcher role within the police budget that was already stretched beyond breaking. So any dog the city caught or sheltered was almost inevitably going to end up being euthanized. The mayor ultimately moved that responsibly into the health department that Abdul ran and he turned it around.
The whole thing is a disgusting âpstt, youâre not really going to vote for the muslim, are youâ angle

Impossible to know this anyhow. There was a poll about 7 months ago over here that suggested Reform had the highest gay male vote but they also had the highest vote by about 10-15%
And itâs all done on self disclosure, plus the pollster was unreliable. Yes I know Gays for Trump but.

Then again, I have been saying this for a few years now, noting that as International Law has broken down, the only answer is either rapid and extraordinary costly military rearmament; or subjugation to whatever wolf is the most volatile in your given region. Itâs not very surprising that the US will threaten armed force against a Treaty Ally they are displeased with these days.
That doesnât mean that the US will invade Canada. That seems unfathomable still, but there will be Hard Power Plays and quite likely support for seperatists alligned with Trump and more.
