EFL Cup / League Cup

To be honest, Newcastle have had an awesome preparation for the match - they have an extra day of rest, Isak is back, Liverpool played the extra-time in CL and lost on penalties, Trent, Bradley and Gomez are injured, Quansah hasn’t started a game in a while, and Konate is touch and go for the final. It will be a difficult match but it’s a final, this is Liverpool and we wouldn’t have it any other way even if given the choice.

Don’t they also have a bunch of injuries to key players?

True, I didn’t realise the extent until you pointed it out. Still, with Isak back, they will pose a bigger threat than at Anfield recently. That said, I’m more concerned about our lads than theirs - if ours play their best game, they should have enough to see off Newcastle, so I hope that PSG game hasn’t taken it out of them.
