does anyone ever remember him requiring a surgery? I don’t.
Don’t think so. Maybe at Leipzig, but at LFC part of the frustration was that few of his in the end rather long absences were clearly going to be that long, the way recovery from surgery is predictably long.
well, it appears he was healthy for all of 7 weeks last season. no way we offered him an extension
Yeah, from me, Gerrard and Klopp.
No sympathy for someone that bent over for national team and lay down injured for Liverpool. No backbone to standup to national coach, to the detriment of his fitness, end of story, footnote of a footnote in the history of Liverpool and has his name on the most famous tournaments in the world.
Also got an iconic number as well.
That dummy at Palace was ace.
The extension was reportedly offered last summer.
before Keita missed almost the entire season?
bullet dodged
I’ve just seen the Werder Bremen vs Köln game which ended 2:1.
Naby came on in injury time (somewhat ironically) for Werder and had a couple of shots at goal in the 5 minutes he was on.
It looked promising. I hope this works out for him.
Did he manage to last the full 5 minutes?
I’d say building-levelling bomb disarmed
And three games into his comeback, and in his first start for the club, the 28-year-old tore a thigh muscle in Saturday’s 3-2 loss at Hoffenheim
So this thread can be locked until the new year then?
Would love to read again about how it’s all in his head.
It s all in his thighs. He’s from Wigan.
This thread should be on the injury list.
I know there were reports of a new deal but I’m starting to take that kind of “report” with a healthy dose of doubt.
When in the New Year, though? My bets on August. Like a new signing, and all. Jokes aside, poor lad. Poor Werder, as well.
