For me he is the last Samba footballer, who always smile and enjoy his game. Model Brazil like Richarlison or Antony is the shame.

Brazil forward Roberto Firmino had not spoken to any other clubs before deciding to leave Liverpool when his contract runs out in the summer, according to the 31-year-old’s agent. (Football Insider)

As we all know: football agents always tell the truth.

Just wondering, since Bobby is not talking to other clubs. Maybe, he wants a career change away from football.

Dental modelling maybe?

I have half a feeling he will end up going to MLS.

No for sure not he’s far too young still, he’s just made his mind up he won’t renew (or maybe had it in his mind for some time and only publicly came out with the news) so I’d assume he’s purely focused on finishing season with us first before deciding where he goes, the guy won’t be short of options. I reckon he’ll end up back in Germany.

I feel he can have a good couple of years in German, Italian, or Spanish league.

Yeah but he is from South America he might seek the easy life, I expect Thiago will be heading that way soon as well.

They have both holidayed over there too.

Is Bobby going tour the grounds now knocking in a goal.

And before he does bid farewell to Anfield, Firmino is expected to surpass Roman Weidenfeller and Nevan Subotic as the most-used player in Klopp’s managerial career.

He’ll remain a Liverpool legend in my heart as long as I live. One of the best all-round players I’ve ever seen play, and he’s a great lad off the pitch too. Most importantly, he breathes joy whenever he comes on or around a football pitch.

The attacking trident ManƩ-Mo-Bobby will obviously be stuff of legends in the future, and that would never have been the same without Bobby at the heart of it all.

Until now, from all players I’ve seen play live, Xabi is my favourite. But once Bobby goes, he’ll probably take up that mantle, and that’s really saying something.

I’m glad he got the reception he did when he came on today. Just wish we could have extended the same appreciation to previous players like Gini instead of being critical of their decision. Sucks that us fans are so selective.

But on topic, awesome that he came on and scored. I hope it can be party time (on the pitch!) for him until the end of the season.

It’s like a way of life really when you hear the news coming from his agent on things he wanted assurances on, the immediate reaction is going to be that of confusion and maybe a bit of resentment…fans just needed a bit of time to digest it all and once he left he very much had the appreciation, and when he had that horrific injury start of this season fans also reached out to wish him well. The manner is very important & Bobby’s been a top professional throughout and done it the right way.

I think with Gini he made it all cloak and dagger with what he said to the media
