Clearly a fake quote no?
How dare you doubt âThe #1 place for Unofficial Football News and Misinformationâ
Haha. Xabi wanted Frimpong, but PĂŠrez forced Trent because something-something-galĂĄctico. Classic Florentino.
Hopefully Frimpong doesnât end up a poor manâs Vazquez.

I sure Trent Bellingham is a lovely name. ![]()
Yeah but remember when the best scouser in the PL era did this
I understand your intent to defend TAA to the hilt - which looks pretty forced at times, I have to say - but calling him the best Scouser in PL era, the era in which the likes of Stevie, Carra and Fowler played, is pretty jarring, even by the standards you set in your defence of TAA.
Why bother having this thread open? He is no longer LFC - I couldnât give a toss if hes great or shit. Its not our concern.
I guess even if this thread was removed and he was just thrown into the general former playersâ thread, some people would still talk about him there. If some others canât stand it, then better ignore it and thatâs it. Each to their own.
Honestly, there is a case to be made. Gerrard was a wonderful player, and in my own ranking, stays top. But Trent isnât far behind. The things he can do with a football is absolutely ridiculous. Carra was a honest, tough, hard and committed defender, and we loved him because he was a Scouser. But in footballing terms, he doesnât come near. Fowler? Yeah, definitely in the top three.
For me, itâs Gerrard, Fowler, Trent, in that order. But they are close to each other.
Gerrard is comfortable on that throne for me, donât know what else to say.
We canât ignore what heâs done for Liverpool.
This thread allows all the Trent related updates to come hopefully leaving the rest of the forum free for people who donât want to read his updates.
Well, he is an ex-player in the âFormer Players and Managersâ section. Itâs hardly off topic. Probably best to put the thread on ignore if you donât want to see it. As a bonus, you can always redirect other posters in this direction if they mention his name.
If talking Scousers who played in the PL, then Rooney needs to be in there too. Below Gerrard and comfortably ahead of TAA.
What next. Owen ?
I donât think the thread should be closed but I agree with the sentiment. I also couldnât give a toss about what he does now. Great Liverpool player. No heâs gone. Move on.
In time he might be welcome back, like Crouch, Alonso, Keegan, Barnes etc etc.
But for now?
Bye.
Trent is under the microscope and there will be loads of memes after every match they donât win.
So every time I see one of those on TAN I will âcounterâ them with one of his 23 goals or 92 assists.
I also expect him to have difficult times at Real but still likely heâll win loads of trophies in the end.

Love Gerrard. One of my favorite players ever but Trent has two PL winner medals. Hard facts.
My 2 schillings..:
First, Trent did a lot for the club as club did a lot for Trent. It goes both ways. The fruits of are truly great. Trent rose in the eyes of fans enormously over the years, local lad, successful lad. He was a worshipped and had support heâll never have anywhere else.
Buuuuuut, looks like he wanted a new challenge and thatâs OK. All this support obviously doesnât mean as much to him as playing with worlds superstars in most prestigious club. Letâs be honest - thatâs how a lot of footballers are perceiving it - crème de la crème of footballing world.
The problem I see it and Iâm probably wrong.. the only players that are truly cherished in RM, are offensive players. And Iâm afraid fans will turn on Trent after couple of poor games and cheap goals.
But he has made his bed and thatâs ok.
I wish him all the best as I wish everyone.
I donât take anything away from TAAâs ability - he was a marvellous football player for Liverpool, the best right back in the world in my opinion at one point. Fowlerâs technical ability was otherworldly.
Stevie? Thereâs a fair bit of revisionism going on about him because people of Western affiliation generally dislike or openly hate Saudis but his coaching stint there shouldnât take anything away from his playing days. He was by far the most complete and, in my opinion, the best football player Iâve seen in a Liverpool shirt. He carried every Liverpool team he played in - and vast majority of his teammates werenât fit to lace his shirts, let alone play alongside him and play for Liverpool.
