he’s like the Simon Sinek of football.
If I could give up the CL and FA Cup now to guarantee the league I would. It’s not just that it’s number 20. It’s because this team and manager deserve to win the league and celebrate in front of fans. It was cruel that after 30 years of waiting they had to celebrate in an empty stadium with only a few fireworks for company. I like to think that’s what might be driving them on this season.
Yes you can believe but if you are not one of the direct involved in the day to day business or one of the supporters in the stadium it does not matter if you believe or not.
The rest have zero influence in the outcome of those matches.
If I could only take one it would be the league, if only to shut up all the ‘Only won as many titles as Leicester’ brigade
I expect the lads to push themselves to their limits to try and win every game between now and the end of the season, and I have zero doubts they will Opportunities like this don’t come around very often for most players, and the belief and passion in them is at boiling point, starting with Hendo. Beyond that, it’s in the lap of the gods
That’s not really the point is it?
What is being a football fan all about if not a totally illogical and unshakeable belief in your team?
Well, they call me the cynical one …
Indeed they do. Curmudgeonly, charming and cuddly too.
Impostor.
My expectations have gone from expecting Top 4 a few months ago, to expect to fight for the title until the very end. A very welcome change !!!
Oh, and lest one forgets, we have already a minor title this season We may with some luck even get a Treble ! We are still in contention for two more cups along with the title !
What has that got to do with anything? I’m not suggesting we can directly influence the team (unless you go to Anfield, in which case sing your heart out).
My point is if you can’t get behind this team doing the ‘impossible’ at this point in time, then you possibly never will. We are currently 3-5% for the quadruple. Believe it or not, that’s higher than you’re ever likely to see again, so enjoy it, get behind it and don’t let cynicism get in the way of the best time to be Red possibly of our lifetimes.
I disagree. Any other team might have the slimmest of chances but the thing about million to one odds (when you’re liverpool) is that they come off 7 times out of ten. Hello Barcelona and Sir Terry.
Part of the joy of being a fan is dreaming about what might happen. It brings a lot of pleasure. Quadruple? Very unlikely, obviously. So much so that it has never been done before. And we are up against at least two artificially inflated teams who stand in our way.
Still, how good is it to be a red? We are doing it the right way. World class at all levels of the club, such that we are fighting to achieve an almost impossible dream.
Bollocks to realism. Most of us have that all day long at work.
This is a special team with a special manager. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
Well guys I see it differently, let’s leave it at that
I would expect the players to remember what happened last season …remember the ppl that said they were the flash in the pan!
I want them to make history …to become imortals in the history of the club…i want them to win and celebrate with the fans.
We as fans need to enjoy the ride…not to worry as we will look back at these times and think did this team …manager…and coaches really achieve this
I can also calculate a 3-5% chance by accumulating the odds of winning each trophy, but that’s a snapshot right now of course. And if I was betting man, now is the last real chance to get betting odds that match the achievement, so to speak. For bookmakers the fact that you have a single-leg cup, a two-leg cup and a ten game run-in is a pretty chaotic composite to judge when to shorten or lengthen odds.
Never expected this season to be so excruciatingly exhilarating.
Are u misding a trophy there?..its 4 baby 4😊
I want that shirt. where is it
