It was a good game to watch, first half, very brilliant. Overall, deserved win for Crystal Palace.

Well I know one thing that they need to be practicing at Kirkby.
I know the quality of penalties was questioned at the womenâs Euros, but in the final, the England women all at least hit the target.

Some on here were doubtful whether CP would care about this trophy, but they obviously did.

Have a nice day everyone. I had fun watching this. I even managed to enjoy some Palace attacks. Our first half was awesome though.
Our penalties, clownish except a couple. But itâs not the worst. Morally worse if everyone scores and one guy has a awful miss. Now they share the misery, haha !
All in all, good fun, if a tad frustrating. We need to get in better phsyical shape, but that is natural.

They just beat the team that did. This is similar to Scotlandâs approach to World Cups.

We scored, I found the 1st half interesting with some promise except our left side defensively.
2nd half was a capitulation. What was said at half time?
Moving to 4222 was disastrous.
Weâre going to have to score a lot in the 1st halves of this season to win the league if this is anything to go by.

Really bad penalties from us. That one from Mo was absolutely terrible and almost identical to the one he missed on Monday.

Looking at all these pre-season games, we look like a very exciting, even mouthwatering prospect for the new season, but certainly not yet as the reigning champions who will look to defend their title. Any opponent will fear us when having to defend against our moves forward, but will also smell blood when attacking our backline.
One week left to significantly up our defensive play (whatever the players on the pitch, we have always looked soft), and to get fitness levels up a further notch.
A hard week of work for Slot and co. to get us fine-tuned, and then we hopefully start the new season with a win, fingers crossed!
