They didnāt need VAR the line judge was behaving as if VAR was in operation and didnāt raise his flag. Everyman and his dog could see it was clearly offside but the linesman was level with the play and should have raised his flag straightaway. Even Roy Keane and Ian Wright could not comprehend how it was not offside. Van Nistelroy was fuming at the end of the game.
