Over the years I’ve come to appreciate the stunning accuracy (most of the time) of the bookies. These guys are experts in bilking people out of their money, and of protecting their own end. When the major sports books like Paddy Power and BetFred have already paid out on Liverpool winning the league, you can rest assured it’s over.
Arsenal have a near-0% chance of winning their remaining 11 matches, and we have a near-0% chance of dropping enough points to allow them to overtake us. I think the OPTA folks have us at like a 98.8% chance of winning it from here. Put simply - it would take the single greatest collection of sports miracles over the next 2.5 months to see us lose out from here.

It is a no-lose fixture for us. ManU win is another major step toward the title, makes the magic number that much smaller. Arsenal win piles on the misery, a draw spreads it to both.
