After the ending to that Barca game, I can’t even argue with you even though I think it comes down to which refs are imposed on us. The one against Lille seemed fine.

What happened in the league stage will be irrelevant in a few weeks. One bad result in the K.O. stage could be enough to end the whole campaign.
Refs in Europe are generally ok with us you get the odd numpty but the same bias isn’t there.
Also FIFA and UEFA mutually hate each other.

Is anyone able to make sense of this?
Leon qualified for the Club World Cup through the Concacaf cup, but has now been disqualified due to violating rules on multi club ownership. But the other club in question is Pachuca, who play with Leon in Liga Mx. Surely these sorts of FIFA rules also apply to domestic leagues played under the banner of FIFA?

They are going have to work out a better system of defining who qualifies mind. Chelsea haven’t been one of the two best sides in England for about 8 years.
I know they got it by winning the CL but that’s close to 4 years ago and sort of like when we won it in 05.
If Barca win the CL I expect they will get the spot.
