And looking at the stats there, Germany did enough to win the game twice over, but crucially they didn’t take care of business.
I can’t gloat though. Sad for good reds who are disappointed. And as an Englishman I have seen plenty of disappointments and it is probably only a matter of time before we get one here.

I’d steer clear if I was Jurgen, at least until some more talent emerges in all areas. That squad looks well short in terms of quality.

This is the first time I see a German team lose a penalty shootout.
Tell you what, Brazil could have easily ended up there. And we know Ali isn’t the best at penalty shootouts
