Cabo Verde blow.
Very embarassed. We was very weak. We need a new manager. Lot of Germans do want Jurgen as new Germany boss. But I do favourite under-21 manager Antonio Di Salvo.
PS: I am not a «Red». I am only a Liverpool sympathizer.

Very pleased with recent results.
So far we now have Wirtz, VVD, Gakpo, Grav coming home for some much needed rest
Both!
i seem to remember some tears and snotters from America after Qatar were awarded the WC in 2022.
American officials were of the opinion that FIFA had promised that the USA could hold it that year
Germany and the Netherlands out to Paraguay and Morocco. ![]()
While Morocco going through isnât a real surprise given how well they did four years ago, Germany going out is an enormous one, as Paraguay for me was one of the weakest teams remaining in the last 32.
I watched the first half, and Paraguay were really, really bad, but still managed to drag Germany to their low level, and the latter didnât seem to have the spirit to break them down. Apparently, it continued until the penalties, and without having seen the second half and the extra-time, it seems that Germany lack real characters in their team. The likes of MathĂ€us at the time, or Lahm, MĂŒller, Kroos wouldnât have allowed this to happen.
There is talent in this German team, but apparently not much backbone.
That would be jolly nice of them if they did. Amd Sweden doing a number of France also would really open up this WC for Australia to go on and win it ![]()
Wild. I woke up to this news. I had them down as a team that would bungle their way to the latter stages despite not looking brilliant.
Iâve not been overly impressed by what Iâve seen from Wirtz to be honest.
Not surprised by the Netherlands. They havenât looked convincing to me.
As a part time Dutch fan, Iâve frequently thought they play a lot like we did last seasonâŠ
I missed all the drama last night. I was in bed with a headache.
Gutted for Netherlands and Germany, not going through to the next. I canât stand the current crop of South American teams and their general acting antics on the pitch.
I think a Brazil or Argentina team have a good chance win this tournament. They can tolerate the altitude much better. I think altitude will play a major factor in this World Cup.
Think Germany were terrible but this quote from Klopp was great on a couple of levels (from the beeb feed).
Theyâre coming home , theyâre coming home ⊠our boys are coming home. ![]()
Donât rejoice too soon, mate. First, there are the holiays, and as we know by now, this is a very dangerous periodâŠ
Maccaâs face looks leaner that Iâve ever seen him.
Pity he still moves like a lard-arse.
I still remember Higuainâs penalty missâŠthere were memes about the ball entering orbit around Earth, his pelota landing in someoneâs soup in Argentina etc etc
Discussing last nightâs results with a work colleague and our conversation moved into how stale football has become. Teams that traditionally were weaker are looking half decent and organised, while The traditionally stronger teams offer very little in terms of being able to break other teams down and grab a goal or two. It leads to games becoming lifeless almost, and itâs made worse by not having players that have that extra bit of quality to break teams down.
Where are all the superstar midfielders now? We have a light sprinkling of fantastic strikers, but midfielders and creative players just in behind the front line and Iâm honestly struggling.
Iâve said in the past that I used to be a fan of Seria A in the 90âs. Yeah the games were slow, but you always knew that there would be a moment from one player that would change the game. That was enough of a hook for me. That league was absolutely stacked with players that could do that. Iâm now watching games with zero anticipation of anything happening at all.
General moan over for now.
Didi Hamann said similar on Irish TV. When asked was that not what Arsenal have done so many times resulting in them winning the league, he said they shouldnât be the premier league winners
