American TV is furious but its a clear red card.
The fact its not intentional is completely irrelevant, but the US commentary team seem stuck on it.

Yeah, I don’t really like it being a red card at all, but it’s given in this game, so.
You can make an argument he is their most important player. Not their best, but the only guy they have in such an important role who is remotely close to this level.

The red was clear. Serious foul play. Raked down his calf and Achilles, and stood on his ankle. Easily could have been a bad injury. Silly man as he will be missed against Belgium.
If you look up the definition of “useless” in the dictionary, you’ll see Bosnia written beside it.

US controlled the game really well. Bosnia could not get near them. You have to give US credits on how well they did
Italians must be cringing at this, Bosnia must have forgot the US scored that first goal as they only started playing after the second.
Bosnia is simply not brave enough. The ball between the 2 US players in the box and the Bosnia player did not fight to get to the ball.
