FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 2)

What is he good at?

Finishes okay I guess? Isn´t particularly quick, or clever, or a good dribbler.

Through two “five-holes” as we say in North America.

Feels like Argentina were much more than Messi last time out and even though he’s older it feels like they are just Messi this time.

Same, but thankfully a heroic intervention instead. It did look disastrous from the TV angle though !

Vozinha is boss

Cape Verde is really the Bodø/Glimt story of the World Cup. Imagine if they manage to, somehow, beat Argentina ! That would be so epic, much bigger than most people realise. That they are even in the World Cup, is a tremendous achievement for such a tiny island chain with a very low population.

The reaction from Medina doesn’t look good

A shame about the injuries…

Argentina players dropping like flies. Cape Verde players seem to be fitter than their world class counterparts.

At least we can be 100% sure they are not rolling around and faking, as they really want to avoid extra time if they can.

Just turn the telly on. Wtf?!?
