FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 3)

Enciso does have a lovely smile

Absolutely no contact there and Barcola gets a yellow card. The cheat rolling around in agony.

Booked for absolutely nothing - Barcola should fit in just fine if he joins LFC

Where’s the contact

I hate these diving south americans. It is blatant cheating..there was absolutely no contact and yet Barcola gets a yellow..What is the point of VAR if they can’t intervene..

Tell it’s exciting that the commentator spoke about a game at Barnsley for several minutes

Not sure why they didn’t. They did in their USA game

France has been very wasteful with their corners.

You could argue they can intervene as it is a case of mistaken identity - they mistook Bradley Barcola for someone who had made contact with the Paraguay player

Hope folks can see the value of hydration breaks here. US summer can be brutal

Impressive technology being plugged on the BBC - apparently you can watch a full replay of the Mexico Vs England game from 6am on Sunday morning if you don’t want to stay up to watch it live when it kicks off 19 hours later.

It all makes sense now - Germanred must have been using the pilot version all tournament

You can see the angst here.

Also, that stuff about rowing doesn’t make sense at all, given that it was completely normal to row them around the coast in various dubious weather.

What I see is a time and a stadium totally unsuited to hold as World Cup knockout match, in fact any World Cup match.

Just ridiculous!

Odd that there was no one on that ball.

Fuck getting up at 6am on a Sunday morning… I’ll wait the 19 hours

This match has been disappointing so far. Someone please score!

Almiron looks like one of those Ventriloquist dummies.
