Half time report. England lots of the ball. Too ponderous. Norway smashing goal, helped by Kane dawdling in his own third, and Pickford having very short arms.
Bellingham takes things into his own hands and as a world class player he injects a burst of pace, goes past the player and smashes it low to the corner. Nice goal.
The game is finely balanced.
England have been crap on the wing. I see Saka coming on at some point to add a bit more quality, albeit from a sick note.
Haaland hasnāt been in it much, but then thatās not his game. He suddenly springs to life when he gets a sniff. Have to keep an eye on that.
Englandās corners have been rubbish too. I thought with the Arsenal connection weād have some good deliveries, but this has been more Dog and Duck.
Thereās a sense in which we think (letās see) that England can play better.

Salah famously did that all the time. He just was better and so got away with it easier.

The current version of Saka has been just as poor, England really donāt have very good options in the wide areas.

Noni is better at taking in the FB 1 on 1. He doesnāt offer much more, that appears to be what Tuchel is focused on as a way of creating chances for Harry and Jude
Judeās 1st touch for his goal was absolutely brilliant took it past his opposite number pefectly in his stride with pace and power.

There was a point in the first half where Rice picked up the ball, but the back pass wasnāt on, so he heroically held the ball up until it was.
