Mbappe laughed in their faces after being clattered a few times because he understood that all they had left. That was not his initial response.
I have no love for Mbappe. I think he’s a selfish prima Donna. But fair is fair. That was disgraceful from the Paraguayans.

The Swedish Foreign Minister, Maria Malmer Stenergard, has implored Swedes to not root for Norway. In a direct question about who to cheer for in the event that Sweden went out, she responsed “certainly not Norway”.
This is of course very serious stuff and the Scandinavian press has already something like 10 articles about the Swedish “hate”, “foreign minister being unprofessional”, “we cheered on you in 1994, you ungrateful bastards”; and many similar snacksy stories.
