FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 3)

BBC are promoting paying your TV licence, ITV are promoting a competition with premium rate texts so both are using it for raising money for themselves but no paid ads in the UK during the hydration breaks.

He came on against Panama for 10 minutes or so - England 2-0 Panama: Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane score as Three Lions top group - BBC Sport

Think that was more, game is won, give other players a rest.

They are necessary when the temperature is 34 deg C, and feels like 40 C with the humidity. They are bullshit when it is 18 deg (Seattle) or played inside air-conditioned domes.

I think it’s kind of wild that 2022 was awarded on the basis of doing it in air conditioned stadiums. Yet no one believed them because you cannot really do that. And ultimate the skeptics were proved right and the entire calendar was fucked when they switched the tournament to the winter.

And then Jerry Jones the crazy bastard said hold my beer. Can this now be the predicate for requiring Saudi to host all their games in similar and require them to keep the tournament in the summer?

Difference is really year round demand for it - a sizeable percentage of Americans are actually incapable of living in the climate in which they reside, so that stadium in Dallas can pay for itself.

They did have to figure out the natural grass problem, which they only sort of managed.

Spain Portugal is so tasty.

I feel like the teams cancel each other in some key areas. Spain“s star man is Yamal but Portugal has the very solid Mendes. Portugal“s star man is Vitinha but Rodri is in midfield. Very interesting battles.

Absolute nightmare getting into a place here in Spain to watch it though.

The main reason Slot didn’t like himwas that he was too soft and didn’t get stuck in but he went too far this morning. He will learn from this he is still young after all.

So obvious as well and says a lot about the standard of refereeing.

One of my biggesr bug bears, you see a ball played up to a centre forward and the defender has 2 arms all over him grappling him to the floor and nothing is given, then in the next instance a defender facing his own goaline, shielding the ball gets the merest of touches falls over and the ref gives a foul, grrrrrrr

The hydration break, hahahaha, here in NZ, is just adverts as is most of half time.

I presume it is a genuine viking helmet with horns?
