They are the worst. But I agree with him that it is the USA that should be blamed in principle more than FIFA. Had it not been for the USA, it would not have happend during this WC.
It’s a given that big business wants to commercialize and maximize profit as much as possible. Yes, that’s a very American trait. It is FIFA’s tournament and we are possibly witnessing Pandora’s box being opened on the way to an extra slot for adverts. Ugh. I very much hope not.
It should be banished as it is no good for the game. It breaks momentum.

Anyway, Morocco has been extraordinary disappointing. They have a much higher ceiling than this, and it is pathetic that this is then how they play in an 8/8.
So they better play better in the next half. As for Canada, much better, but sort of limited. Those factors combined have made for a poor game, that I for one, hope Flobbs won’t be including in his judgement of the football quality of the tournament.
It’s not as if Infantino had his arm twisted for the breaks and he isn’t going to disband them for the next WCs.
The bold prick is as greedy and corrupt as they come.

I wasn’t defending the bastard. I was just noting that these are made for US televison, where this god-awful travesty is accepted, so I for one, blame the US more for that reason.
