He was a cheat, and he cheated England. The ref was appalling to not chalk it off. But he was probably not as bad as Shilton, who was the most unathletic goalie with his non-jump.

Before this world I was listening to a Libero conversation about why football marketing is still focusing on the old guard who got focus in the last decade. Fox just did their wrap up of the tournament and it was a prepackaged bit focused on Ronaldo and Neymar.

He missed loads of fouls, mostly on Spanish players and blew nearly everytime an Argentinian player threw himself to the ground and that disallowed goal was a joke!

But you can respect their competitiveness pmsl

Yep, me too he has been part of teams that play a good style of footy and then Argentina.

Barcelona is rocking right now.

So glad that nation of rats didn´t win, despite the ref and FIFA really trying to make it happen. never seen such blatant corruption

Spain the best side in the tournament and clear deserved winners.

Just saw what Paredes did at full time.

Should be a multi-year ban from international football, I think.

Given that he’s already old and quite shit that would end his career at that level which would be good.

If Spain had been fouling cnuts all game I’d just about understand his anger. No excuse for it however. Is the injustice that the ref actually sent one of their players off fairly.

Having no actual shots on target?

They got very lucky getting that far, Egypt should have sent them home, Swiss should have and frankly if England had bothered in that final 20 they would have.

The winner of Spain V France to me were the deserved winners and so it came to pass. Considering how young that Spanish side is and considering they just won the Euros U19s they probably in for a long period of success however there are key players they will need to replace.

Rodri will be fine at the next Euros but 34 at the next World Cup with be a push.

Laporte being the other but then they can leave a defender like Huijsen at home you assume that’s not a major issue.

Next World Cup being in Spain will no doubt be the big one for them.

Watching this clip on reddit, I only just realised that Argentina has 2 red cards next to its name in the score display. Who got the other red?

Molina punching Rodri that starts the whole altercation between Argetinian and Spanish players
