It makes you wonder what happened to all the home grown players of that caliber. They have become so rare that if there is British or Irish player of that standard then there’s a home-grown premium to be paid.

That’s interesting to see. I visited there a few years ago, but there’s nothing much to see. The village was demolished and turned into an open casting site (which I assume is also closed now).
