Very different from Helene Bøksle. Kari Bremnes is one of our stronger female singers. Her voice is pretty stunning. Her northern Norwegian dialect makes her sound so …beautiful.
E Du Nor ? (Are you north ?) Means “are you up north now”, she sings and writes on dialect.

I dare say, the Kari Bremnes cover of Everybody Knows I posted above, is perhaps a bit stronger (certainly more original). But Anikka Norlin has a beautiful voice !

BTW, derailing this just to inform you that the match I am watching without sound because you guys post awesome stuff, is only 1-0. Which means a Christmas Miracle can still happen.
As for songs, just had a short discussion with my uncle. According to him, Sissel Kyrkjebø is probably the best female singer in modern times in Norway. He may indeed be correct. Technically she is stunning. I like Kari Bremnes and others more, but technically Sissel is probably the most “gifted”.
Not my cup of tea, but it is high quality. This is from she was young and promising and this is Solveigs song by Edvard Grieg.

Yeah, she is pretty skilled indeed. And her voice is original and like @HometownZero mentions above, not generic.
