I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

I imagine he’s like Pinocchio, but with his eye brow. The more he lies the higher it gets.

His brow must be on the moon.

Thank you for this post. It was excellent.
If you want to hate, there is always fuel for it if you go looking for it. Plenty of people say and do outrageous things that you can be use to fuel it. But in reality Everton people are no different from Liverpool people. Some people take rivalry much too far, bordering on something that looks like nationalism (i.e. nationalistic Turks will say incredibly loathsome stuff about Greeks and Armenians and the same the other way around, and to me it is the same mindset injected into sports).
It was a direct red that caused an incredibly unfortunate injury but that’s also what it was. It was incredibly unfortunate. Pickford should have been harshly punished for his reckless tackle. But if you look at it clinically, that is also all there was. It is brutal that Virgil got a knee injury, but it happened and it can happen. We have to manage to go on from this.

Sorry, mate. I just think some of the reactions are a bit overboard. It is just my opinion and feel free to have another one.

Is that all the Everton PR department could think of after 5 days?
“Listen Carlo you’ll have to put something out there or people are going to rumble that we really are a team of cheating, violent, thugs. So, this is what you do. Tell the the press that Jordan is really sad about the injury to VVD and he didn’t mean it. This will get him loads of sympathy. Then, and this is the brilliant part, we shift the focus onto VVD, by blaming him for an injury to James which is so bad, it will keep him out of the next game, even though he played the whole match, but we’ll just brush over that. Sky Sports will lap this up and we’ll look like the victims, while VVD looks like the twat he is. What d’ya think Carlo? Brilliant eh! Ciao Carlo, we’ll leave you to tell that bollocks to the press”.

It could be called an unfortunate injury if the two players had tussled for the ball… what is not unfortunate is when a highly strung goalkeeper prone to panic attacks comes at you feet first knee high to the opponent…
On the basis of Flappy’s actions… It brings into serious question whether his mentality should be tested before he pulls on a goalkeepers jersey again… as he is a danger to himself and definitely to others…!
When it takes Ancelotti almost a week to explain away the actions of his goalkeeper… coupled by the deafening silence from any Everton hierarchy or Flappy himself… It demonstrates what a lack of class this Everton Football Club is all about eh…!
Championship is where they belong…

Jackanory comes to mind…(let’s get our heads together and make up a story) and put that blame back on VVD…jamez had enough time to keep wafting his hands to the ref for cards, and enough ‘nouse’ to keep ankle tapping Robbo all thru game… Robbo should’ve decked him one…( on the sly).

That can only happen in an offside position so that the referee won’t notice

Paul Joyce taking Ancelotti to task, asking very pointed questions. I have zero respect for Carlo and it’s bewildering the amount of love, admiration and respect The Boss has for him.

EDIT: I know this Twitter user is a rumor monger and my posting this is not an endorsement on following him. I posted for the Paul Joyce content.

If there was any reds fans that had the slightest admiration for Ancelotti before that derby last week… Then I think it can be safely said EVERYONE has seen him now for what he his…!
Defending Flappy the way he has without bringing sanctions of his own, snide comments against a guy who is going to miss 12months of football through no fault of his own…
Lets just leave it there and say Ancelotti, Kenwright, Moshiri and EFC all deserve each other…

Really shameful blaming VVD for injuring James the diver extraordinaire who subsequently played the whole game and then miraculously he recovers and he is fit to play any credibility he had with the LFC fans has vanished he has become false and snide. To think that I blamed Ferguson for the shithousery the other day he is just as bad as drunken Ferguson as someone else said we will welcome him properly in February at Anfield hopefully with a few fans in the stadium to give him an earful.

I’ll be maybe a bit unpopular here but ill say that carlo was forced into a corner. Any mgr including jurgen would have said the same about the pickford tackle.

And only about the pickford tackle

Any respectable manager wouldn’t have a fucking tool like Pickford in goal.

i see geniuses out there responding to van dijk’s injury with images of his tackle on mertens

the reason that bothered them at the time was that van dijk should’ve been sent off–but he got a piece of the ball; even if it was a red, there was no suggestion of intent to injure

but it’s something people clung to, especially after we came back to beat barca & won the competition, and so even if the circumstances don’t match, it suits their agenda. and they don’t see beyond their agenda

there’s nothing that could happen to pickford that would make me feel sympathy for him, but i don’t care to dwell on ancelloti’s comments long enough to start despising him the same way

Any respectable manager is their own man… and stands by their own philosophy and beliefs…!
Ancelotti has sold his soul going to that cesspit…!

Apparently he’s on 9 million a year. That probably had something to do with his decision.
