Even the dachshund is there.
Surprised they have enough fingers in that cringey AI art.
Nice to see Wirtz scoring so many. I didnât see the game though. Hopefully he played well too.â (which is highly likely obviously).
They were assists!
Iâm blind, it seems !
I actually had on glasses, so have no good excuse !

Nah, the way it showed on the post, makes it look like he scored as his name came 1st
When does proper football start again?
Germany and the Dutch making everything clear, well done to them! ![]()
Germany has lost a game, The Netherlands have drawn 2.
I donât think they have been that good compared to quality of players and expectations.
Germany is at +13 GD (ok, less games, but still)
The Netherlands is better at +23 GD
And their groups look like this:
Itâs good by both teams, but not amazing. Norway much, much better actually (and certainly more impressive !!!) and that wasnât so expected ! ![]()
Feels bizarre to say that, but itâs in fact, the truth ![]()
Should I be more humble ? Yes, but not today ![]()
Both sides have had issues in last years, not winning all games and not having a +50 goal difference is not a big deal. We already know that individuals are one thing and having an organized collective can be different. Especially at international level, makes it more interesting. Theyâve accomplished their missions. Qualifiers are the first part anyway, now they have to go and prove it next summer, whatever their targets might be.
True, true, but that is so nuanced, down to earth, and thus boring (but you are right, of course) and deflates my funfair baloon.
And of course not going to major tournaments is a personal blow for footballers. How big, well, depending on their levels and expectations. We cannot be selfish and think that Liverpool is the one and only thing that matters. Especially in cases like Szoboszlai and Hungary (though I donât think a case like Messi and Argentina is much different). He said it a few days ago, his best moment so far in his career isnât Liverpool related, despite winning an amazing 20th league title in front of fans.
There is real advantage (one of, not the only one!) of them getting a rest at different times, but my stance by default is always that I want all of our players to be internationals and get to as many major tournaments as possible. Itâs the logical goal, from different aspects. The rest works itself out and of course you also need luck. The biggest clubs in the world manage and weâre one of them, or want to remain in that company.
AgreedâŚ
Germany, in particular, have struggled in some games. They were penned back against Northern Ireland and were laboured last week against Luxembourg. Given that they lost in Slovakia, it was expected to be a tough match last night. Because of how easily they won, lots of pundits are forgetting the toil and grind that they have encountered so far.
I actually wonder whether seeing Klopp in the stands made them go full Heavy Metal. I mean it was more like one of those Finnish metal bands that bludgeon their audience with the force of ancient nordic gods.
Great for Norway, certainly impressive.
As for the (traditionally) bigger teams - Iâve often seen not much corelation between qualification form and the actual tournaments later on.
As for Germany, itâs a decent team overall. Weâve had worse ones (individually) do surprisingly well and more talented ones fail.
Youâll have to be more humble when the world cup starts, but until then, enjoy! ![]()
Friday.
Big night for Scotland and Wales to be fair the games tonight seem to have a bit more on them compared to the last few nights. Itâs great for Norway but they werenât losing 9-0 and Germany had pretty much done the job by half time
Yeah, with Denmark fucking up in a spectacular manner against Belarus, this is a very big game.
Denmark should really beat Scotland, but that doesnât mean that they will and Scotland have home advantage.
