Looks like Wolves are already building a side to attack the Championship next season. Gomes’ loan is a weird one, especially with no option. But I know they were lacking a central midfielder in last weeks, playing some offensive minded players deeper. I don’t think he’s going to play in the Championship next season. So it’s probably with a view of showing himself to the rest of the league and try to attract interest to stay in this league or as high as possible elsewhere.
