I really enjoyed it. Brought back a lot of memories for me–some during very difficult times during my wife’s illness but she got to see us win the league and was screaming with joy during chemo when Chelsea beat City.
I teared up watching the YNWA at the end too. But don’t tell anyone.
It did mean more.

So sorry your wife had to go through that. I know what that’s like as my uncle stayed at my house while going thru chemo when he has stage 4 cancer.

Fucking legend. Most other managers (looking at you Fergie) prob want teams to fail after they left so they get credit for previous success. I can just imagine Klopp watching our games like a proud dad, fist pumping at the tv and shouting at the refs

Can just imagine Klopp like an old grandpa in his sofa googling Curtis Jones, going to his Wiki page and they only have league numbers of games and goals (makes no sense at all) in the main profile bit. Gotta scroll below to see more detailed numbers across all competitions.

After 6 months without him it looks like he decided to leave at the ‘right’ time.
Turns out Pep for example does not know when to leave at the right time.
Did Sir Alex leave at the right time? Even if - did he prepare his club properly for the time without him? Surely not.
Look what’s possible with the same squad if the homework was done in the years before.

I think Jurgen felt it needed someone to take it further. I think he realised he was leaving the club in a decent place, I don’t think he would have gone if the club needed a year to get back on track.
