It was said start of pre-season, although that was also under Slot. They will surely have a look. But I think nobody can guarantee him at this moment without a second of training at Liverpool that he will be part of the first team squad once the season starts and the transfer window ends.

Fixtures announced Friday will be 5-6 even perhaps 7 fixtures before the first break which has merged and extended.

There are 5 weeks before the first break and a fair few mid weeks in that period with only one taken up with CL. Though League cup for none Europeans and Europa will take one up. Probably be 6
