Alright half of football.
Annoying with Joe, so frustrating for us and himself. Think he was laughing as itās got so ridiculous. I almost felt the same, such a common scene.
Mama looks fine, still a bit suspect on the ball.
Frimpong looks rusty.
New tall CB looks good, bit keen on following his man into midfield. Keep referring to him as a trialist interestingly
The Senegalese CB looks okay too, doesnāt like it on his right foot though.
Kostas looks okay, seems frustrated with his lack of options
McConnell looks confident but needs to be sounded defensively. Brave to take the ball in his own box for a young lad. Did well bringing the ball out for our goal.
Curtis looks decent, not a fan of his body language though.
Harvey looks god, just needs to get on the ball more. Did well for the assist
Rio looks like usual Rio, brave and direct. Just needs more of them chances. Great run for the pre-assist.
Morrison took a fantastic ball but needs to get more involved

TAA started showing poor arrogant body language in his last season I thought. I hope Curtis does not catch that bug. He unloaded on Wright. I have no probs with that. But he is a senior player now I guess and a candidate for the VC - head to Doms thread for that debate that I think I startedā¦.

There is a duality with introducing young players to the first team. You need the patience to not write them off while they are still adapting, but also the respect to treat them as first team players and the expectations that go with that. That means they need to be subject to rockets when warranted, but then coupled with a hand around the shoulder when itās all done.

Love seeing McConnell coming back out for the second half. With the focus on how well Morton has done well at Lyon, McConnell always felt like the player with the better propsect.
